Getting Started

Register your interest in having your stories published on FICSPOT by sending us an email at stories@ficspot.com.

1. With the subject line "Short Story Writer", provide your name and a valid PayPal email address for receiving rewards.
2. Attach your short story in either Doc or Docx format. Please ensure your story stays within the word count range of 500 to 2500 words.
3. Submit the email and await a response from our team. We strive to review submissions within a reasonable timeframe.
4. If your story is accepted, you will receive an email invitation to join FICSPOT as a writer. Follow the instructions in the email to complete your registration.
5. Once registered, log in to your FICSPOT account and fill in your profile details, including a profile image, location, bio, and a link to your preferred tipping platform (such as Buymeacoffee or KO-FI).
6. You can now start sharing your stories on FICSPOT. Write your story, ensuring it meets our guidelines and quality standards.
7. When your story is ready for review, mark it as "GoodtoGo" by writing "GoodtoGo" at the end. Please note that our team will handle the publishing process for you. So, don't mind the draft status.
8. The FICSPOT review team has access to all your stories in progress, they will assess your story, providing feedback if it does not meet our criteria. If it passes the review, it will be published within 24 hours.
9. Once published, your story will be available for readers to enjoy. Engage with your audience, respond to comments, and build connections with fellow writers and readers on the platform.
